Yikes

When I got home from work today, I ran into one of my neighbors on my way in. It was one of the guys who helped me move my sectional. Anyway, we chatted for a few minutes and we were discussing the apartment complex we live in. He was saying that he didn't like it and he mentioned that someone was murdered a couple of weeks ago in one of the buildings. So that was kinda freaky. I did a little research on the internet and found out he was right. Not cool.

But as we all know, gun crime in the US is no higher than anywhere else in the world. Well, Cobra thinks so, anyway. Hey, a few hundred years ago, two English bishops were burnt at the stake right outside the front door of my college. Maybe England has a higher rate pf burnt-at-the-stake crime than other countries.

im certain that England has a higher burnt-at-the-stake crime rate than the U.S. It also has a higher rate of using-the-word-"pants"-incorrectly. Marianna, that's scary- you should post a picture of a scary lookin hammer dog on your door. no one will bother you ever. besides that, I think you'll be ok. And if anyone ever threatens you you can feed them and they'll forget about being a jerk.

That's very interesting, Marianna. Today they found a dead body in front of the hospital...I guess it was like in the wooded area in front or something. Earlier this morning I saw a firetruck and police car out there and was later told it was because someone found a dead body up there. Pretty freaky, especially for the person who found the body. Anyway, I guess they aren't giving any details yet until they finish their investigation. It's kind of crazy to think about all of the potentially dangerous situations I could be in just working at the hospital. First, there was that security guard that shot his wife in the head, then we had a patient attack a bunch of the nurses on one of the floors with a pen and they ended up in the ER, not to mention threats the hospital has recieved from pts and to top it all off the dead body that was found in front of the hospital. Makes for an exciting work environment. Don't ya think?
