Lofty New Look

Well, I thought it was time for a new look. I liked this one. Question of the day: Contrast Makes Reality - what do you make of that? My personal first instinct is Democrat vs. Republican. That is a contrast. It currently composes my reality. Of greater import: Christian vs. non-Christian. Again, definite contrast and inescapable reality. Besides this incredibly cool blog scheme, what does the phrase "Contrast Makes Reality" bring to mind? Atoria? Jess? Anyone else who is listening?

On a side note - I'm glad I don't have a loft, you never know what could get in there.

Question of the day: What does it mean to "spin the Filipino"? Let me just say that unlike the typical question of the day, I do not know the answer to this. Anyone care to enlighten me? At any rate, this is a funny picture. So there are my 1,000 words for the day.

What type of alien is Mr. Spock?

Once again, nearly a month has gone by since the last time I posted. I think part of the problem is that most of the time, I don't feel like I have anything to share. I spend the vast majority of my time working, and out of respect for the privacy of the family I work for, I try to avoid posting much about work. So, there you go.

However, it occurred to me that I could, at the least, post a picture now and then. I mean, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So here's a picture from a concert I went to last week. It was cool. I believe I took this picture during the group's rendition of "Don't Fear the Reaper." Don't ask me how I animated it - that's top secret. You don't have security clearance.

* A special thanks to Victoria and Jessica for their responses to last month's trivia question. Victoria, you get the bonus points (not sure how many - you decide) for picking out the hidden quote and correctly citing it - you sleuth, you. Jessica, you are awarded 10 points for correctly naming the movie and 20 points for naming the character. But unfortunately, I have to deduct 10 points from you for demonstrating that my question was flawed. I'm the quiz master. Cut it out. I'm always right. Mr. Spock is half Vulcan, half human.
