Well, I thought it was time for a new look. I liked this one. Question of the day: Contrast Makes Reality - what do you make of that? My personal first instinct is Democrat vs. Republican. That is a contrast. It currently composes my reality. Of greater import: Christian vs. non-Christian. Again, definite contrast and inescapable reality. Besides this incredibly cool blog scheme, what does the phrase "Contrast Makes Reality" bring to mind? Atoria? Jess? Anyone else who is listening?
On a side note - I'm glad I don't have a loft, you never know what could get in there.

That giraffe cartoon is beyond random. It makes HomeStar look positively rational. And the guy sounds English. Is it a random English cartoon? I always thought you Yanks did it better. In fact, it's the only thing you do better than us. Except screw up wars. Ooh, contentious!
Wow does that giraffe cartoon just keep playing? I watched it three times and then figured.. if i watch it any longer this could be bad. And to Matt- I think the guy was english. American giraffes don't wear scarves. As for the question you asked marianna, i have some good thoughts, but i'll post them later on. right now, its breakfast time.
I finally responded to your ninja day post. So go read it, and I emailed you some pictures because I could not figure out how to put them on there.
so i watched the loft cartoon. and then i watched it again. and again. and then i thought maybe if i watched some of the other cartoons i would understand the randomness of the giraffe in the loft. you did pick the most sane cartoon on the site.
so i would make a snide remark about how after 35 minutes on the site i feel slightly dumber, but that would require admitting i spent 35 minutes on the site.
Sorry for the delay, folks, but here are my responses:
Eme dos - Judging by your comment, I can only assume that you didn't follow those links I sent you, as you said you would. I've learned my lesson - Never trust the word of an Englishman. I'm going to ignore the contentious part of your comment. To be honest, I was much more surprised by your comment that you thought we Yanks actually did something better. I'm not sure I've ever heard you say that before.
Atoria - Yes... yes it does. That's the beauty of it. You should really check out www.badgerbadgerbadger.com. It is hec. tic. What question were you referring to?
To both Matt and Victoria: As far as clues to the guy's nationality - you also have the fact that he pronounced giraffe with the emphasis on the first syllable, the phrase "having a laugh," the intended meaning of the phrase, "with that long neck, he's stuffed," and quite possibly, the usage of the term "loft." I think we Americans would say attic, wouldn't we?
Megan - I got your response to my post, go read my response to your response. I never got your pictures - do you have my gmail address?
Strong Sad (bet you forgot about that one, huh?) - That's just sad. I thought better of you. As I told Victoria (and Matt a couple of weeks ago), you should really check out www.badgerbadgerbadger.com. But do not expect it to make sense. Mushroom mushroom.
Jess - To be honest, I just tried to incorporate "Contrast Makes Reality," because it was embedded in the image on my theme. It was easier to act as if it were intentional than to attempt to remove it.
All - Just thought I would mention that whilst I have been posting this comment, I've been listening to giraffe the whole time. Yes, I know I said "whilst." The bloody giraffe has kept me up all night.
I think my favorite part of the video is when he says "i didn't invite it" as if we're all asking... "well, how did it get in there?" lol i had to go watch it again. i've also seen badgerbadgerbadger and its my fav.
You need to go read my new response, you weak ninja; and no, I don't have your gmail address.
Wow, you post so frequently. It's hard to keep track of it all. I'm bogged down in Marianna posts. How do you find the time?
And so forth. Basically, please write something new. You are very funny (to look at).
hear hear. except the funny to look at part. :-)
